IPS Member visit to Not Going Out

Come and join this IPS sponsored back-stage visit to the set of Not Going Out.

This popular BBC sitcom is starting series 10. Sound Supervisor and IPS member Nick Roast is hosting this visit to the set and technical areas. He will explain, on the evening, how this successful show is recorded with a studio audience. Nick specialises in studio based sitcoms, and has been working on Not Going Out since 2011. He also sound supervised Miranda, Still Open all Hours, Mrs Brown's Boys, Absolutely Fabulous, I'm Alan Partridge, and many many other popular shows.

There will be the transmission of a live episode on Friday the 21st of December 2018 at 21:00 on BBC1. Watch it and get a feel of what we can experience on our exclusive visit.

Registered members for this event will meet at the Main Reception of Pinewood Film Studios between 19:15 and 19:30, to be checked in by security, park in the visitors car park, and then be escorted to the Television Studios complex. At 20:00 the visitors will then be split into groups for tours of the set and control rooms.

After the tours the groups will be brought back together for a Q&A with our hosts.

19:15-19:30 arrivals for a 20:00 start, until approx 21:30/22:00.

This event is likely to be very popular and so tickets are available to IPS members only. If you have to cancel please notify the organisers as there will most likely be members on a waitlist for any 'returns'. Please do not turn up if you have not registered and do not possess a ticket as Pinewood Studios will refuse you entry.
